I visit Disney World often & I really enjoy staying at a variety of resorts so that I can experience different properties. On my most recent trip, I got to stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for the first time! I had visited this property before and even did an extensive tour with our agency, but nothing compares to actually staying at a property and getting a feel for it myself!
I must say, this resort had never excited me as much as others. I think maybe I assumed it would feel too fancy & elegant — especially for the boys in my family! I am happy to report that I was wrong! Here are some of the reasons why I LOVED Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa:
- Our room was so spacious & nice. I love a resort room that allows me to unpack & spread out comfortably. There was plenty of storage & the bathroom was spacious. The queen beds are so comfortable & this resort has the option for a daybed, too. This is a great perk for families of 5 like mine! I also enjoyed the large balcony.
- You cannot beat the location! Disney’s Grand Floridian is located on the monorail & offers views of the Magic Kingdom. You are so close! Not only can you use the monorail, but there is also a boat & walking path to Magic Kingdom. I love any resort that gives me multiple methods of transportation & is close to some of the parks!
- The property itself is so beautiful. When you stay on property at Disney World, you are going to feel like you are part of the magic. This resort also truly felt like vacation. The grounds are beautifully landscaped & everything is picture perfect!
- The abundance of dining options! Disney’s Grand Floridian is known for having a lot of dining choices & this really impressed me. I enjoyed 3 of those in just my quick 2 days there! Whether you want quick service, a lounge for adults, or fine dining, you can find it here! I personally loved their quick service option, Gasparilla Island Grill & The Enchanted Rose for evening cocktails.
I will absolutely stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa again in the future! I loved everything about it. This deluxe resort option is definitely something special!
