Grabbing a Quick Service meal Walt Disney World doesn’t need to be all hot dogs and burgers! There are several unique options throughout the parks and I wanted to share my favorites!
Animal Kingdom
I think Animal Kingdom has some of the best Quick Service options in all of the parks and at the top of my list is Satu’li Canteen in the Pandora – World of Avatar section. You choose your base, protein and sauce which allows for some unique flavor combinations and numerous possibilities! Plus, the dessert options are out of this world! In addition, this is one of the few Quick Service restaurants at Animal Kingdom that has indoor seating.
Honorable mentions:
Flame Tree Barbecue – pro tip: find a seat by the water and you may catch some character floatillas while you eat!
Yak & Yeti™ Local Food Cafes – I think this restaurant has the best quick service burger!
Epcot
While Epcot is known for its Festival food booths, there are several great Quick Service options with indoor seating in the World Celebration area including Connections Eatery and Sunshine Seasons in the World Nature pavilion. Both options have a variety of cuisines to choose from and plentiful indoor seating!
In the World Showcase, there are SO many options to choose from, but I tend to gravitate towards La Cantina de San Angel near the Mexico pavilion (pro tip: there is often an indoor seating area open during the day – check the doors near the water side of the restaurant) and Yorkshire County Fish Shop near the United Kingdom pavilion (grab a seat by the water!).
Honorable mentions:
To satisfy your sweet tooth, make your way into the France pavilion and you’ll find what I call Sweets Alley with L’Artisan des Glaces and Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
Magic Kingdom
Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square is always a hit with its New England inspired options! I’m a fan of the lobster roll. We like to find a seat upstairs where it’s often a little quieter and you can typically find an outlet to charge your phone!
Honorable mention:
The Friar’s Nook for a quick snack and Gaston’s Tavern for The Grey Stuff cupcake!
Hollywood Studios
Woody’s Lunch Box has been a favorite of mine since it opened a few years ago. Although the menu only has a few items, I try to fit this in once a trip so I can have my favorite grilled cheese sandwich! Full disclosure, It can be difficult to find a seat here, so try not to eat at peak meal times here if you can.
Honorable Mention:
ABC Commissary has a great menu with some unique healthy options, as well as great plant- based options!
Pro tip for Hollywood Studios – you can take food into any of their outdoor theaters, so you can sit down and enjoy a quick bite while you wait for the show to start (looking at you, Indiana Jones, Beauty and the Beast and Fantasmic!).
Don’t forget! Mobile Order makes it quick and easy to order at many Quick Service restaurants without everyone having to wait in line!
I’d love to help you plan your next Disney World vacation! I travel to the parks frequently to make sure I’m offering the best recommendations to my clients! Please reach out at rebeccam@ftmtravel.com to get started!
