Vacations can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Some folks like to be on the go go go…while others like to take the time away to really relax and take it easy. Fun for friends, fun for couples, Hotel Xcaret Arte can fill whatever vacation list you have!

When you first arrive at Arte, you know you are entering a resort like no other. You are greeted with a cold towel to freshen up from your travels and a paleta (or popsicle) for a sweet first taste of this amazing resort.  Guests are welcomed with friendly hospitality that help you acquaint yourself with the resort and orient you with what it has to offer. There is a lush, tropical vibe all around. As you explore further, you come to crystal pools, beautiful rivers, and the blue ocean beyond. This resort feels like you have truly escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

If you are looking to stay busy, Arte is the place to be!  In addition to the amazing pools, there is a small beach, gorgeous rivers where you can swim, kayak and paddle board.  You can also take this opportunity to learn more about Mexican culture through art workshops in each of the “houses” or buildings where the guest rooms are: dance, poetry, weaving, painting and vegan gastronomy.  There is a really terrific gym to get your workout in and art all throughout the resort. With 9 restaurants, 11 bars and a speakeasy for nighttime fun, you have plenty of amazing things to keep you busy without even leaving the resort!

However, one of the huge advantages to staying at Arte is the included parks that you can visit throughout your stay.  With a stay at Hotel Xcaret Arte you have Unlimited access and transportation to the parks by Grupo Xcaret: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xavage, Xoximilco, Xenses and Xenotes.   In addition, most food and drinks are also included when you visit these parks as an Arte guest.  This resort brings a whole new meaning to the all-inclusive concept!

One of my favorite things about my stay, was the time in the spa. The spa itself is in an exceptionally natural setting. With rocks and water and a just an overall sense of well-being. My massage was in a natural cave and was cool, dark and quiet and felt like a true escape from everything. The Hydrotherapy ritual, which included time in a sauna, hot and cold jacuzzies, emotional showers, cold room, and playful pool with a river view. They had snacks and wellness drinks. I only had about an hour in the hydrotherapy area, but I could have easily spent the day in the pool with waterfalls and different bubble options. Be sure to sign up for at least the hydrotherapy circuit during your stay!

All in all, my stay at Xcaret Arte was incredible! If you are looking for a resort that feels like Mexico, with lots of activities but plenty of opportunities to relax, Hotel Xcaret might just be the perfect fit for you!
